My Batik Dear Jane

This week I began my Dear Jane journey. There are two women in my local guild that are joining me. Are we crazy or what? Here are my first four blocks. I am not happy with the first one and will probably re-make it. Even though the motto for Janiacs is" finished is better than perfect"
Don't know about the Jane Stickle Quilt? Check it out here www.dearjane.com

Oh you are so brave. How many a month will you be doing? I could do 4.... but then it would take 20 years to make, right?

I especially like the 2 blocks on the left. So pretty.

I'm not so sure that brave is the right wording ;o)Crazy maybe...

Your comment got me thinking if I was really ever going to be able to finish it in my lifetime so I did some figuring - 5 blocks per month = 60 per year. 60 x 3.75 yrs = 225 blocks = Dear Jane! Not your average quilt in a day/weekend.
